Dreadnought PS4 Update Adds Three PC Patches Worth of Improvements

In an effort to bring Dreadnought’s PS4 version closer to parity with the PC version, the devs have tied together a full three previous PC patches into a single Dreadnought PS4 update that’s being described as one of the biggest to land on the game.

To start, every customizable ship in Dreadnought now has two loadout slots that can be put together, letting players swap to different modules and appearances in and out of matches. Tech trees have also gotten some smoothing, with fewer branches to help players get to the higher tier ships they want faster.

The new update has also brought clearer on-screen displays of in-game stats and cleaner reticles; revamped versions of the pre- and post-match screens; and two new pre-built legendary ships in the form of the Naga corvette and the Phoenix corvette in the Sinley Bay market.

Full patch notes for the update are found here and a video summarizing and showing off these new features can be seen below.

Our Thoughts

While these updates aren’t exactly barnburners in terms of content, they certainly bring a whole lot of quality-of-life adjustments to the Dreadnought PS4 version. Which, we assume, is a welcome addition to players of the game. Here’s hoping that PS4 internet ship captains have fun in the battlefields.
