Pearl Abyss recently announced it will release 3 succession classes on 28 February for Black Desert Mobile as part of its 1st anniversary update in South Korea. The succession system was first announced in November 2018, when Pearl Abyss revealed that players who do not want to awaken their characters and wield a new weapon will “soon” have the option of an progression route. Characters who have already awakened can also take part in a one-time quest to change into the succession class for free. This free chance to swap over is also open to all new players. The first 3 succession classes are for Warrior, Ranger, and Valkyrie.
