Two New Metal Max Xeno Trailers Roll in on Heavy Treads – RPGamer

Two new Metal Max Xeno trailers have been released just a few days prior to the game’s western launch, courtesy of NIS America. In Kadokawa Games’ return to the armored vehicle RPG series, players once again step into a post-apocalyptic blasted wasteland. The first trailer reveals the game’s opening crawl, providing some backstory on NOA and the end of the world. In the second video, protagonist Talis shows off his recruiting technique as he sweet-talks Dylan, a survivor found in the ruins of what was once Tokyo, into joining his team.

Metal Max Xeno allows players to customize tanks and other armored vehicles, then use them to scour the deserted remains of a once-thriving Tokyo for survivors, combating the enemy threats both via tank and on foot. Originally released in Japan on April 19, 2018, for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, the game is coming to North America on September 25, 2018, and Europe on September 28, 2018, as a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
