inXile Entertainment’s The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep is now available on PC. The revival of the series is available now through Steam, GOG.com, and the Humble Store.
The Kickstarter-funded sequel brings the mainline Bard’s Tale franchise back after a 30-year hiatus and is set a hundred years after the destruction of the city of Skara Brae. Players control a hero who rises up against the Fatherites, a group of fanatics persecuting non-humans and magic users. The Bard’s Tale IV is also planned for release on Mac, Linux, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, but no dates have been given for these versions.
