The mobile MMORPG based on Korean novel, The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, was first revealed back in 2016 by XLGAMES. LINE was initially announced as the publisher, but it looks like the company chickened out as Kakao Games was confirmed as the new publisher today. It is unknown if overseas territories are included. Kakao Games and WeMade Entertainment (developer of Icarus) also announced they have each invested around USD 8.9 million (total of USD 17.8 million) in XLGAMES. WeMade Entertainment also teased that XLGAMES is working on new PC online games and it hopes to maintain a strong strategic relationship.
