PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – Suspects captured for operating bot program in China

Tencent, the publisher of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in China, recently announced it has worked with local authorities to capture 15 suspects behind 2 bot program syndicates. These syndicates are accused of of both developing and selling bot programs for the popular battle royale game in China. Around USD 4.7 million was also uncovered, possible from sales of the bot. Tencent claimed the fight is ongoing, with more arrests imminent.
