The long-awaited Fable Fortune launch has finally been announced and it’s set to happen a lot sooner than anyone expected. It will be leaving Early Access for full launch on February 22nd, just 3 days from the announcement. It was also announced that the game would be free to play, which is only a real surprise if you know nothing about online card games. Still, it is exciting to see that they will be following the trend with this release.
Leading up to the launch of the game Early Access players will be rewarded just for logging in. Players will receive Fancy cards and a Fancy card pack. This event is being called the Road to Release and the schedule for it is as follows.
Monday 19th February 14:00 GMT – Tuesday 20th February 14:00 GMT: Fancy Crazy Cat Lady
Tuesday 20th February 00:00-23:59 GMT: Fancy Restless Spirit
Wednesday 21st February 00:00-23:59 GMT: Fancy Bloody Augur and a Fancy Card Pack.
On Facebook, they’re promising some exciting news to be released for anyone with a Founder’s Pack. This news is expected to be released sometime today. As soon as this news is released we’ll be updating this news post with that information.
All of this means we’ll be saying goodbye to Fable Fortunes on our weekly updated list of MMOs in beta, where it has been featured since the Kickstarter campaign was announced back in May of 2016. It leaves behind more than 130 titles in various stages of development and beta testing. We can’t wait to finally be able to review the newest of the CCGs to join others like Gwent, Chronicle: Runescape Legends, Elder Scrolls: Legends, Hex, and Hearthstone.
