Much like last year, Sony has come readily into 2018 with a new slate of first party exclusives. Following the reveal of God of War’s release date reveal yesterday, some fan attention appears to have turned towards Quantic Dreams’ Detroit: Become Human, which is widely thought to be the second PS4 exclusive that will release this year.
A fan on Twitter reached out to the developers to make sure things were still on track for its 2018 release.
Spring 2018 we said, spring 2018 it will be David 🙂 https://t.co/fORaLaddyD

Spring 2018 begins on Tuesday, March 20th and ends on Thursday, June 21st, so there is a pretty decent chunk of time to make our guesses. That said, given that God of War is coming out April 20th, you would think Quantic Dreams and Sony would want some distance between the two games.
Releasing before God of War is possible, potentially on that first Spring Friday, March 23rd, which would give just a little less than a month’s worth of time. However, since that is now less than two months from now, a safer bet might be sometime in late May. The last two Fridays of May are the 18th and the 25th, so take your pick.
Either way, we are excited to see what Quantic Dreams has in store for us when Detroit: Become Human releases this Spring.
